On March 1st 2023, we will be continuing this tradition by introducing the UAE market to the McMurtry Spéirling, the world’s fastest accelerating and record breaking track car. This exclusive event will be held at the Dubai Autodrome and will be the first time the McMurtry Spéirling is exhibited outside of Britain, where it is designed and built. The single seat, electric track car set the outright hill climb record at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, beating a long-standing record set by a Formula One car.
One of its key advantages is instant grip from an innovative fan system to generate over 4400lbs of down-force from a standstill. It allows the instant torque to be fully deployed to deliver and amazing zero to 60 mph time of 1.4 seconds. This down-force is equally important for braking and cornering, where the McMurtry’s agility has set a new industry benchmark.
Initially with former F1 and Indycar driver Max Chilton behind the wheel, guests will witness a live demonstration of the McMurtry Spéirling at the circuit on 1st March with a second private event on 3rd March.
Founding Director of McMurtry Automotive, Thomas Yates, will meet invited guests at the event, where he will deliver insight into McMurtry Automotives journey and vision.
